His grandmother achieved international fame with the Tanton Sisters' aerial bamboo act. Alexander grew up in the circus, performing with snakes and other reptiles before working on the trapeze that Keyes Washington named after him because he had imagined performing balancing acts on it.
Son style reste fluide malgré la discipline impitoyable qu’impose cet agrès qui ne tolère aucune faute d’équilibre. Il termine son numéro avec un exercice qui, lorsqu’on l’exécute au sol, est déjà un exploit : le Marinelli bend, un équilibre uniquement tenu par la mâchoire ! Alexander a obtenu deux prix spéciaux à New Generation de Monte Carlo en 2016.
