Certains magiciens n’apprécient guère que les secrets de leurs tours soient dévoilés au public. Ils parlent de « débinage ». On pourrait croire que les ouvertures intempestives des boites de Scott et Muriel vous dévoilent des trucs. Que nenni ! Le talent (et la technique) de ce couple hors du commun va bien au delà des trucages habituels.
Scott Nelson is from California, Muriel Brugman is from the Netherlands. Scott was a magician, Muriel a clown. They started working together in 1999 and the following year won the Grand Prix at the World Magic Championships in Lisbon.
George Méliès would undoubtedly have appreciated these two artists who reproduce live the magical gags that he filmed at the time when cinema was still in its infancy.
