Freshness ... This is the word that comes to mind when we discover this couple in their succession of acrobatic worms. Maïte Ramirez and her partner Julio Fajardo come from Cuba. Julio was first a judo teacher. Later, he worked with Maïté as an acrobatic dancer, especially at the Medrano circus where they imagined working in duet. Three years of work gave birth to this issue.
Au fil des répétitions, la danse s’est compliquée de souplesses, d’équilibres sans que jamais ne soit troublée l’harmonie des gestes. Nos deux partenaires y expriment même une sensualité toute latine avec une légèreté qui illustre à merveille le texte de la chanson de Kerry Livgren du groupe Kansas : All we are is dust in the wind !
