While it may inspire beautiful legends, the circus has also given rise to real love stories that have led to spectacular acts. It was at the German circus Flic Flac that Valery met Malvina: he worked on the aerial straps after a magnificent career as a bar performer, and she belonged to one of the most renowned tightrope walking families in Dagestan. Together, they worked hard to create this three-dimensional love poem, a torrid romance reminiscent of a Tennessee Williams novel. It was at a festival in Moscow that they first used the beautiful song "Je suis Malade" (I Am Sick), composed by Alice Donna for Serge Lama and sung here by Lara Fabian, as accompaniment to their performance.
Desire of flight a obtenu un Clown d’or au Festival de Monte Carlo en 2014 après avoir triomphé dans les plus grands festivals comme Izshevsk et Moscou (Russie) ou Saint-Paul-lès-Dax. Ils ont aussi participé aux deux plus grands spectacles du monde : le Weltweihnachts circus de Stuttgart et le Wereldkerstcircus Carré d’Amsterdam.
